PERSONAL CARE Packaging Design

From small batch family brand, to retail ready

Little Bee is a family-owned brand creating hand-poured lotion bars and balms with skin-nourishing ingredients. First Pick rebuilt the brand from the ground up, creating a distinctive identity, illustration system, and packaging that honored its handmade roots while giving it a stronger shelf presence and room to grow.

WHERE IT STARTED

Honoring its handcrafted roots.

Little Bee had a beloved product and a loyal community, but its visual identity had not kept pace with its retail ambitions. First Pick created a new identity and packaging system that preserved the brand’s handcrafted character while giving it the clarity, confidence, and shelf presence needed to pitch retailers

ILLUSTRATION & PACKAGING

Rooted in natural ingredients and a sustainable mission.

Every Little Bee product is made with simple, organic ingredients and packaged in plastic-free, recyclable, and biodegradable materials. We carried that same care into the brand through a custom illustration system featuring calendula flowers and almond blossoms, two nourishing ingredients used throughout the product line.

The custom pattern became the connective thread across the full packaging system, adapting across product types, formats, and scent variations while keeping the line cohesive and recognizable. In total, we created 40 coordinated die lines built for consistency on shelf and flexibility as Little Bee grows.

A Word from Little Bee’s Team

“First Pick guided us through every decision and helped us think not only about where the business is today, but where we want it to go. With so many products, scents, and changing SKUs, we needed a system that could bring everything together now and continue growing with us. They gave us that clarity and direction while creating a brand that still feels true to Little Bee. We are so excited about our new identity and packaging, and we cannot wait to see where they take the business next.”
